Specific Objectives and Purposes

The specific objectives and purposes of this corporation shall be:

(a)   to sponsor a biennial civil war reenactment open to the general public which will commemorate General John Hunt Morgan’s raid through Brandenburg, Kentucky;

(b)  to sponsor other informational events open to the general public which focus on the civil war;

(c)   to educate the general public concerning the role of Meade County, Kentucky in the American Civil War

(d)  generally, through educative and other efforts, to make the understanding of the American Civil War accessible to as broad an audience as possible; and

(e)   to engage in other activities including, but is not limited to, lectures, exhibits, presentations, and any and all other appropriate means.
